About the BFG II

We partnered with ZZ Tops very own Billy F Gibbons to co-design a second version of the limited edition BFG boots - the BFG II. The legendary rock 'n' roller and arguably the world's most famous bear-grower and guitarist has already shown the world what Texas is all about for more than 50 years through Rock and Roll. And he's doing it again with our new limited edition, BFG II.

Much like Billy, the BFG II has a signature style and a vibe all its own. It's a cowboy boot that will stop you in your tracks and makes you say "Whoa, where the hell did you get those?" We took inspiration from Billy's music and his famous saying "Have Mercy," then mashed it together to produce one badass-looking boot. And like all Alvies boots, it's designed to break in fast and built to last.

Billy himself was involved in every step of the design process, ensuring these boots have a heavy dose of his signature style.

The Pickpocket (with picks)

You don’t have to be a world-famous guitarist to know picks never stay put. The pull strap of each BFG boot has a spot to store a backup, pre-loaded with a couple custom BFG picks.

Rock-N-Roll Style

Few designs fully represent the badassness of the legend himself. Stars, lightning bolts, and Billy's "Have Mercy" signature are added to give a little pep in your boot step.

Great boots!
These are perfect. I wear an 8.5 in Tecovas, Alvies, Old Gringo, and Ariat. These fit similarly. I get compliments all the time. The only complaint I have, is that the guitar picks are on the inside not the outside and easily fall out. But that wasn’t a feature I really needed anyway. I have athletic calves and these are plenty wide.
